Thomas James Nudd

Born on June 18, 1939 in Medina, NY, he was the son of the late Edward and Bernice (Gottovi) Nudd. Upon graduation from Medina High School, he entered the US Navy, where he proudly served four years. He was the General Manager for Bell’s Supermarket, retiring after their closing. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, boating, fishing and especially his pets, Buddy, Bear and Missy.

Tom is survived by the beloved mother of his children Janice (Campana) Nudd; his three children: James M. (Kristina) Nudd of St. Jacob, IL, Janine M. Nudd of Medina, NY, and Tricia A. (Nick) Mroz of Medina, NY. His four grandchildren to whom he was affectionately known as “Pa”, MacKenzi Nudd of Medina, NY, Kassidi Nudd of Logan, UT, Alison Nudd of St. Jacob, IL and Nicole Mroz of Medina, OH. His sister, Kathleen (Ronald) Webber of Middleport, NY and two nieces, Lauri (David) Moden of Medina, NY and Mary Beth (Mark) Klotzbach of Medina, NY. He was preceded in death by his nephew Michael Webber.

In addition to, he has a close extended family, Kristin (Marchner) McAdoo and Laurie Marchner and all the special family and friends that shared in his life.

There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on May 7, 2013 at 11 AM at Holy Trinity Parish ( St. Mary’s Church) West Ave., Medina , NY with Rev. Daniel J. Fawls officiating. Burial will be in Boxwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Tom’s name to Hospice of Orleans County, PO Box 489, Albion, NY 14410, to the Kevin Guest House, 782 Ellicott St., Buffalo, NY 14203, or to Lee-Whedon Memorial Library, 620 West Ave., Medina, NY 14103.
