Eunice Joy Humphrey, of Meeker, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and those who cared for her on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the Walbridge Wing in Meeker. She was 98. Upon Eunice's request, private family services will be held.
Eunice Joy Donat was born the daughter of Joseph Francis and Stella (Helus) Donat on October 4, 1927 in Skyler, Nebraska.
Eunice loved all artwork including: graphics, painting and chalk drawings. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family.
Eunice raised two sons, Edward James and Michael Francis Hoke.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Stella Donat; and her son, Edward.
Eunice was also loved by the many caregivers at the Walbridge Long Term Care Facility. She always kept the staff laughing and a smile on their faces.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Eunice's memory to the Pioneers Walbridge Wing.
