

Amogie Fae (Lentz) Brunzo, 73, of Byhalia, MS, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch after an extended illness. Ms. Brunzo was born in Oak Grove (Paragould), AR to the late William Henry and Rosalie (Walden) Lentz. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by one sister, Barbara June Lentz and one brother, Robert Edward Lentz. She is survived by two sisters, Betty Jane (Lentz) Barton of Murray, KY, Margie Mae Lentz (Twin) of Maumelle, AR, one brother, James Gary Lentz, of Phoenix, AZ and sister-in-law, Flossie Marie (Hurdle) Lentz of Jackson, MS. She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Marie Brunzo of Knoxville, TN and Pamela June (Brunzo) Lyles (Danny) of Byhalia, MS; four grandchildren, Amanda Morgan, of Memphis, TN, Charles Lyles, Johnathan Lyles, and Dillon Lyles of Byhalia, MS; two great-grandchildren, Dominick and Brooklynn of Memphis, TN; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She attended Harding University for two years and then moved to Little Rock and received her nursing degree from St. Vincent Nursing School. She chose a vocation of serving others. She married and then moved to Memphis, TN where she worked at the Rosewood Nursing Home, Memphis Mental Health, and served as a private nurse. She came to love all of her patients. The family will receive friends Monday, July 20, 2015 from 12pm until the service begins at 2pm, all at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. Memphis. Interment will follow in Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Cemtery, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Bartlett.
