Barbara Thornton, 86, passed away Sunday, December 20th. Barbara was born in Clarkton, Missouri and moved to Memphis in 1948. She retired from Sears as a supervisor. Barbara was a member of Idlewild Presbyterian Church and the Woman's Exchange. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 44 Years, her daughter, and her son. She is survived by her sister, Juanita Robinson, her daughter, Lynn Thornton, her grandsons Kirby Thornton (Japsie) , Neal Heaslett (Ann Marie), two greatgrandchildren. A visitation will be held at Idlewild Presbyterian Church from 1-2 on December 29th with a funeral to follow.
