Betty J. Hargrave, 67, of Memphis, passed away on October 9, 2017. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 11, between 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., and funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 12, at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bartlett. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and she had a booming laugh that was totally infectious, making everyone around her laugh. Mrs. Hargrave was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Harry Hargrave, Jr.; her parents, Claude and Gaynelle Stacks; her brother, Capt. Raymond Stacks; and two grandsons, Calen and Caden Myers. She is survived by her daughter, Angela K. Myers; three grandchildren, Hailey Myers, Hunter Myers, and Logan Myers; and two sisters, Claudette Stefanski (Michael) and Martha McPherson.
