Betty Cage Sweatt, age 85 of Memphis passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013. She was born March 10, 1928 in Hughes, Arkansas to the late Claiborne Wall Cage and Sadie Vignes Cage. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, and was a graduate of Hockaday Junior College in Dallas, Texas. She also attended Southwestern College in Memphis. Ms. Sweatt was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald C. Sweatt; two brothers, Claiborne and John Cage. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Hurst.
