Beverly Mason Brown Rokitka, 90, of Memphis, passed away September 10, 2015. She was born January 31, 1925 to Richard and Ida Brown. Beverly graduated from Humes High School. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Daniel J. Rokitka, four daughters, Diane Hinton (Ronald), of Cordova, Linda Long (Dalton), Theresa McCarthy (Robert), and Suzanne Rokitka, all of Memphis, two sons, Daniel F. Rokitka and Thomas M. Rokitka, both of Memphis; three grandsons, Justin Hinton, Matthew Long, and Seth Rokitka, all of Memphis, one granddaughter, Elli Herron, and one great-granddaughter, Kaylie Hinton, of Cordova. Beverly was a life-long Memphian and a charter member of St. James Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 4-6pm with a Rosary at 6pm at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. Memphis. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 11am at St. James Catholic Church, 4180 Leroy Ave. Memphis. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
