Brenda Chittenden Hughes

Brenda Chittenden Hughes, 56, of Collierville, TN passed away on Wednesday, December 09, 2015. She was preceded in death by her father Elston Z. Chittenden. Mrs. Hughes is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Phillip E. Hughes, three children Michael Hughes and his wife Sarah, Alison Kosman and her husband Karl and Kathleen Hughes, a grandson Robert Edward Hughes, mother Hildred Chittenden, three siblings Michael L. Chittenden and his wife Sharan, Barbara Anson and Kevin Chittenden and his wife Becky, two nieces Heather Luellen and her husband Tom and Emily Laird and her husband Will, and two nephews Greg Chittenden and his wife Jennifer and Zachary Chittenden. Mrs. Hughes was a member at Germantown Baptist church. She was a choir member and Sunday school teacher there. She will be well remembered for her expertise at baking cookies for her family and close friends. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, December 11th from 2-4pm at Germantown Baptist Church, 9450 Poplar Ave, Germantown, TN 38139. The funeral will start at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her honor to Le Bonheur Club (www.lebonheurclub.org).
