Brooxie Ann Davis

Brooxie taught 1st grade at Ford Road Elementary and was an alumni member of Kappa Delta Sorority at the University of Memphis. She was active in the children and young adult ministry at Highpoint Church

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Norma Jean Merryman and Barbara Ann Davis.

She is survived by her mother, Leisa (Leon Shapley) Davis, sister Christy Davis, grandparents Murray Merryman and his wife Alice Merryman, aunt Mendy Merryman and uncle Jim Merryman and family. Brooxie and family are so blessed with all of the love and support from "Brooxie's Battle Buddies" followers and prayer warriors.

A memorial service will be held at 10 am Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Highpoint Church, 6000 Briarcrest Ave. Memphis, TN 38120 with visitation to begin at 9 am, prior to service. Burial will follow at Southwoods Memorial Park at 11:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made in Brooxie's memory to Highpoint Church, the Pink Wig Project, or Lolly's Locks of Love.
