

Casey was born August 4, 1984, in Bartlett, TN. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Thompson and his maternal grandmother Gertrude Thompson, fraternal grandfather Jim W. Cunningham, Jr. and his fraternal grandmother, Sylvia Cunningham.
Casey is survived by his wife, Charleigh Blair Cunningham; son, Ceighan Kyle Cunningham of Melbourne, AR; daughter Caylee Cunningham of Indianapolis, Indiana. Casey is survived by his parents, Jim and Martha Cunningham of Bartlett, TN, sister Kristie Bowen (Scott), nephew Preston, and niece Piper of Lakeland, TN; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Casey graduated from Bartlett High School with honors and received an academic and baseball scholarship to Southwest Tennessee Community College, where he received an Associate of Arts degree.
Casey had a smile and a laugh that would light up a room. He never met a stranger and could entertain anyone at the drop of a hat. He was very athletic and loved playing sports. He was loved by his baseball teammates from Memphis, Travelers, to Bartlett High School and Southwest College.
Casey was very proud of his military service in the Army National Guard where he served in Iraq for a year in The War on Terror.
Most of all, he didn’t mind being a mama’s boy and was proud to tell everyone this. Casey had such a big heart and he would do anything for his friends and family. He will be forever missed and loved by everyone.

Family will receive friends for visitation from 2:00 to 3:00 pm on Thursday, January 9 at Faith Baptist Church. The funeral will begin after the visitation at Faith Baptist Church, 3755 N. Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133.
Burial will occur on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 2:30 PM at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd., Memphis, TN 38125.
