CATHERINE LOPICCOLO LIBERTO, 100, of Memphis, died June 23, 2014 after a short illness. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, June 26, 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Park Avenue, where she was a communicant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry H. Liberto. She is survived by her two sons, Harry J. (Louise) Liberto and Frank P. Liberto. She leaves four sisters, Lenora Galbreath, Frances Agostinelli, Rose Crenshaw (Bob) and Mary Owens; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She loved her church and family. She was a friend and inspiration to her neighbors at the Embassy Apartments, which was her home for over 20 years. The family requests that memorials be sent to The Poor Clare, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or charity of your choice. Visitation will be held at Memphis Funeral Home, Poplar Ave., Wednesday, June 25 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at
