Clarence Honnell Stewart

Clarence “Lee” Stewart, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East. Visitation (Wake) will be Monday, February 24 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 25 at 10 a.m. at Grace Church of the Nazarene, 8979 E. Shelby Drive, Memphis, TN 38125. Mr. Stewart was a loyal employee of Memphis Ice Machine Company for 33 years and FedEx Corporation for more than 15 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nell Ray Jack, his stepfather, Earnest Jack, his brother, Edward Ray Oliver and his foster-father, Monroe Ballard, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 31 years, Helen Stewart; two daughters, Kisha Stewart and Samantha Stewart; two sons, Daniel Stewart and Corey Stewart; one grandson, Arden Stewart; two sisters, Delores Murphy and Teresa Stewart. He also leaves his foster-mother Dr. Joe Ann Ballard, foster-siblings, Ephie, Linda, Monroe, Jr., Justin, and a special childhood friend, Ronald Marion, Sr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, foster sisters and brothers, co-workers and friends.
