Corinne Archer Williams

Corinne Archer Williams of Memphis, TN passed away peacefully at home November 11, 2022. She was born January 11, 1925 in Pontotoc, Mississippi to Hester L. Archer, Sr. and Willie Lee Patterson Archer.

She was tough, independent, fearless and plain spoken. Born at a time that was not common for women, she was blessed to live until it was.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 42 years Gene C. Williams, brother H.L. Archer, Jr. and sisters Edith Garrison and Hazel Archer.

Corinne is survived by her son Tom Williams (Jenne), granddaughters Bonner Morgan (Worth) and Corinne Williams, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Francis and Melba Williams and eight nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church for 65 years, member of the Kingswood Sunday School class and the United Methodist Women.

She was lovingly cared for by Christene, Lillian, Marie and Phyllis for the last 7 years of her life.
