Dale Allan Dawson, 69, of Bartlett, TN passed away October 20, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Dale was born February 5, 1956 in Millington, TN, to Ronald and Joan Dawson. Dale graduated from Chapparal High School in Phoenix, AR. He married Susan Dawson (Gatewood) on February 4, 1977 in Memphis, TN. He worked as a truck driver for Kroger Distribution Center 20 years. He also worked in facilities maintenance at the Memphis Zoo for 5 years, where he enjoyed being around the animals. Dale was a loving husband and father who cherished his time with family and enjoyed his retirement by spending time on his tractor working around the house.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Dawson. He is survived by his wife Susan, his children Samantha Dawson, Amy Dawson, and Angela Duncan (Logan), his granddaughters Faith Dawson and Addalyn Duncan, and great-grandson Weston Houston.
Dale’s visitation will be held October 24 at 3:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 pm at Leawood Baptist Church, 3638 Macon Rd, Memphis, TN 38122.
