Mr. Darrell Douglas “Doug” Pike, son of the late John Pike and Gertrude (White) Pike was born May 8, 1943 in Montcalm, West Virginia. He was raised alongside his brothers Rev. Larrie Pike and the late James Pike.

He was joined in marriage to Peggy Jewell Pike on February 9, 1961. They raised four daughters together. Peggy Pike preceded him in death on September 18, 2008. He was later married to Judy Cook Pike and was recently divorced.

Mr. Pike was a proud truck driver for over thirty years for various companies until his retirement. He was an active member of theTeamsters trucking union. He was also an avid amateur radio operator. When he wasn’t on the road, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Doug is survived by his four daughters: Janet Sanders (Bob) of Bartlett, TN, Carolyn Ward (Mark) of Brighton, TN, Wanda Redding of Arlington, TN, and Cynthia “Cindy” Rose (Keith) of Bartlett, TN; his grandchildren: Rob Sanders (Danielle) of Bartlett, TN, Kristin Crider (David) of Middleburg, FL, Jana Sanders of Bartlett, TN, Emily Schoonover (Michael) of Bartlett, TN, Jennifer Hickman (Tim) of Millington, TN, Mark Rose (Ashley) of Clarksville, TN, Lauren Stead (Shawn) of Foley, AL, Justin Rose of Memphis, TN, James Ward (Megan) of Somerville, TN, and Steven Mann of Bartlett, TN. He also had 14 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Rev. Larrie Pike and sister-in-law Darlene Pike of Greeneville, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Biographie
