David William "Buddy" O'Sullivan Jr., age 90, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025. David was born September 25, 1934 in Memphis, Tennessee to Imogene O'Sullivan and David William O'Sullivan, Sr. He graduated from Christian Brothers High School, Class of 1952. He served two years in the U.S. Army and worked for 46 at Conwood (American Snuff). He was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Pat; and sisters, Barbara and Patsy. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary O'Sullivan; children Dianna O'Sullivan and Tim O'Sullivan; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at visitation on Wednesday, May 14 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:30 PM, at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 15 at 10:30 AM, also at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Immediately afterwards, there will be a catered reception for family and friends, at the funeral home.
