David Eric Powell

David Eric Powell, loving husband, father, son, uncle and friend. He will be forever remembered for his generous spirit and willingness to answer any call. Born July 2, 1966, passed too soon July 9, 2020 at the age of 54. We will hold him in the regard of the king of “it is what it is.” A man who never complained about his lot in life, and worked diligently every day to provide for his family and accept God’s ups and downs as a part of life as we know it. His subtle humor, sly laugh, and loving kindness will be missed by his wife, Stacy Lynn Powell and daughters Haylee and Emilie. His smile and embrace will be missed by his father, Jim Powell, his brother Michael (Karen), his sister Laurie Gilmore (Jay), Stacy’s parents Barb and Don Keith and his brother and sister-in-law Robert and Cyndi Strong. He is met at the gates of heaven by his mother Anne Powell. The lessons he taught his family and friends will echo for generations to come. May we all be remembered for the best of ourselves, as we will remember David.
