

Debra Bishop Brown, 40, of Southaven, MS, passed away suddenly on July 23, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis from a brain aneurysm. She was predeceased by her loving husband, William Casey Brown. Debra is survived by her parents, Pat and Rick Bishop of Olive Branch, MS, brothers Michal (Daphne) Bishop, Gerald (Tasha) Bishop, nieces and nephews, Jillian, Eli, Jackson, Allie and Ella of Hernando, MS, in-laws, Leslie and Bill Brown of Como, MS, and sister-in-law Shannon (Alan) Scrimager and their children, Maston and Anna Grace.
Debra was a registered nurse for 14 years with four of these years in the service of her country in the United States Navy stationed at the Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms in Twentynine Palms CA. Debra enjoyed the accomplishments of working with her hands and in 2020 started and managed a construction and maintenance business. The family asks for those who wish to express sympathy to consider donating to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Debra and her kind, helpful and hardworking heart.

The family will receive friends at visitation on Saturday, August 2 from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 10:00 AM, at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122. A private burial will follow at Union Baptist Church, Sardis, MS, where Debra will rest in eternity next to her husband, Casey.
