Donald "Donny" Steven Jackson

Donny was born February 9, 1971 in Glasgow, Kentucky. He graduated from Bishop Byrne High School and the University of Memphis with a bachelor's of business degree in Loss Prevention. Donny was employed by FedEx in International Customer Service. His passion was following sports, especially the University of Kentucky Wildcats and the Indianapolis Colts. He was also an avid reader.

Donny is survived by his mother, Bridget Jackson of Olive Branch, MS. He is also survived by his siblings: Pat (Rhonda) Jackson of Huntsville, AL, Mike (Julie) Jackson of Perdido Key, FL, and Mary Ann Jackson Barkley of Germantown, TN. Donny was a loving uncle to his nephews, Jacob Barkley and Chris Jackson and his nieces, Ashleigh Jackson and Katie Barkley. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald and brother, Kenny. Donny leaves behind many close friends. He touched many lives and will be missed dearly.

His family will receive guests and friends on Thursday, September 11 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 12 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Olive Branch, MS. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
