Donald Howe Wolfe Sr., age 82, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025. He was born January 18, 1943 in Memphis. He was a lieutenant with the Memphis Fire Department. He later began his own lawn care business, River Town Lawn Service.
He is survived by his four children, Donald Wolfe, Jr. (Amy), Chris Wolfe (Linda), Zack Wolfe (Haley), and Tiffany Perkins; and six grandchildren, Hunter Wolfe, Cody Wolfe (Ivy), Jake Wolfe, Oliver Wolfe, Kayley Perkins, and Caleb Perkins. He is also survived by his siblings, Steve Vaughan (Jackie), Larry Vaughan (Marlene), and Fay Raye. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Wolfe Vaughan, father, Alex Wolfe, step-father, William "Bunk" Vaughan, and step-daughter, Julie Muirhead Jordan.
The family is planning a celebration of life service on Saturday, March 1 at 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM, at New Hope Christian Church, 3300 Kirby-Whitten, Bartlett. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to the Memphis Firefighters Association or the American Diabetes Association.
