Donna J. Hansen

On December 4th our loving, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Donna Hansen went home to be with the Lord in Heaven. We were very blessed to have her in our lives. She was a remarkable wife, loving mother, amazing daughter, caring grandmother, and wonderful great-grandmother. She enjoyed baking, collecting teddy bears, and spending time with her family and many friends. She was a very kind, caring person who never met a stranger. She had a very successful career of 25 years in retail and after caring for her daughter through her sickness went on to have successful career managing a medical office for 10 years. She was a very devoted member of the Dyer Baptist Church for 13 years where she taught Sunday school, children's church and worked on a bus route with her husband after retiring to Memphis. She enjoyed traveling, going on shopping trips and spending time with family, friends and the many members of the Calvary Baptist Church were she had attended for 5 years. She was survived by her children Darlene (Marc) Hom, Brian (Bridget) Hansen; grandchildren Barbara Bedford, Alicia (Scott) Dolan and Ryan (Aleesha) Hansen; great-grandchildren Jayden & Riley Bedford, Toni Dolan & Toni & Logan Hansen. Donna was proceeded in death by her husband of 54 years Stanley Hansen, daughter Toni Hansen, mother Virginia Franiak, mother-in-law Mary Patriarca and father-in-law Tony Patriarca. The family will receive guests for a gathering on Tuesday, December 13th from ten o'clock in the morning until funeral services begin at eleven o'clock all at Calvary Baptist Church, 3812 Kirby Parkway, Memphis, TN 38115.
