Doris Hill

DORIS STRICKLAND HILL, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011 at Baptist Trinity Hospice House after a short illness. She was a realtor for over 25 years, most recently with Clearpoint Realtors. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, a lifetime member and former officer of the Memphis Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary, a committee member and certificate holder of the Mid-South Fair and Past President of the Memphis Jaycettes. She is survived by her son, David Hill (Pam) and daughter, Kerrye Lebovitz; three grandsons, Tom (Lauren), Johnny, Michael; four granddaughters, Natalie, Rebekah, Sarah Grace, and Krista, and one great-granddaughter, Lois. The family will receive friends and celebrate Doris’ life, Sunday, August 21 from 2-4 p.m. at Snowden Oaks, the home of Sandy and Jim Rout, 1015 Snowden Farm Road, Collierville, TN 38017. The family requests, that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Memphis Salvation Army Auxiliary, 696 Jackson Ave., Memphis, TN 38105.
