A native of Chicago, she was a graduate of Oklahoma State University and a longtime member of Mullins United Methodist Church. The widow of Jack Ruleman, Doris is survived by daughter Suzanne Ruleman Barnett Sorrentino; sons Jack Ruleman and Kurt Ruleman (Melissa); grandchildren Simon (Jeannette), Kirby, Alex, Austin, Victor, Luther, Inez; and great-granddaughter Reba.
A service will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 2:30 pm at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, TN 38125.
