Doris Coates Tomlinson, 76, passed away on December 31, 2019. Doris was born in Jackson, TN and graduated from Beech Bluff High School. She resided in Memphis, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lola Coates; brother, Merle Coates. She is survived by her husband, William Tomlinson; two daughters, Melesha Staples and Kim Hall; granddaughter, Chelsea Marshall; great-grandson, Alec Barrett Marshall; two sisters, Dorothy Clements (Jerry), and Virginia Lindsey. There will be a private ceremony held.
