Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Chris Chritiansen. She is survived by her son John (Lee Anne) of Cordova, Tennessee; daughter Rev. Debora Christiansen of Lakeland, Tennessee; son Jeff (Keeling) of Memphis, Tennessee; two granddaughters Christina Lee Christiansen and Leslie Anne Christiansen; two grandsons Charles (Hannah) and Jeffery (Marissa) and two great-grandsons Caleb and Peter; and her brother Bob Brown in Rantoul, Illinois.
Mrs. Christiansen was very active in the United Methodist Women at St. Matthews United Methodist Church.
A visitation for Dorothy will be held Sunday, April 16, 2023 from five o'clock until seven o'clock in the evening at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Her funeral service will occur Monday, April 17, 2023 from beginning at eleven o'clock in the morning at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 4459 Willow Road, Memphis, TN 38117. Burial with escorted cortege will conclude at Memphis Memory Gardens Cemetery.
She was definitely a fulltime wife, mom and grandmother. Her love and influence will be greatly missed.
