October 17, 1928 – December 6, 2022
Dorothy ODee Fuller, 94, of Memphis, TN (community of Frayser), entered into God’s kingdom on December 6, 2022. Born on October 17, 1928 in Atoka, TN (community of Rosemark), to Claude Vernon Crook (deceased) and Nora Lee Huggins Crook (deceased). Married 76 years to Ernest (Buddy) Tramble Fuller, JR. (deceased). Survived by her children Ronald Fuller (wife Carol), Sandra Fuller Houston (husband Rick), Ellen Gay Fuller (deceased). Grandchildren Jannette Webb, David Fuller, Richard Houston and Jeremy Houston. Great-Grandchildren Samuel Webb, Ashton Fuller, Elliott (Ellie) and Carson Houston. Survived by her Sister Mildred Deverell.
Due to the death of both parents at the age of 12, she and her sister were raised by their Grandmother Lettie Gertrude Turnbow Huggins in the community of Charleston, Tipton County.
She worked out of her home as a printing layout artist, typing and arranging the print for catalogs, brochures, and newspapers to be printed until retirement.
She was an avid gardener with a love of flowers and her favorite, roses. Played guitar and piano. Loved to sing country music singing on a radio program in her youth. Was an excellent seamstress making most of her and her daughter’s clothes, curtains, and upholstery. Enjoyed cross word puzzles and cards. Her favorite past time was fishing for crappie with Ernest on Enid Lake.
On December 6, 2022 she passed after a fall, heart attack and brief illness in Memphis, TN.
Her love and loyalty never wavered for her family and will be truly missed!

A visitation for Dorothy will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122. A committal service will occur Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Road, Memphis, TN 38134.
