Dorothy Christine Ward, Memphis, TN, passed away December 13, 2015 at the age of 88. She is survived by a son, Emmett Lee Ward, Jr. and a daughter-in-law Maureen Ward. Mrs. Ward has three granddaughters, Tammie Brace Turnipseed, Maranda Ward, Samantha Ward, and two great grandchildren, Mason and Tanner. She is preceeded in death by her husband, Emmett Lee Ward, Sr. and her son Danny Ray Davis. The family will receive guests for sharing of stories, refreshments, and memories on December, 17th from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm at Memphis Funeral Home with a funeral service to be held Friday at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Dorothy may be made to St. Jude.
