Dorrie Ann "Dot" Farrar, 82, of Memphis, passed away, August 22, 2012. She retired from J. C. Penney. Mrs. Farrar is survived by her husband of 60 years, William Dalton Farrar and three sons, William Gregory Farrar (Debbie) of Cape Coral, FL, Willian Ronald Farrar of Olive Branch and Timothy Alan Farrar (Dovie) of Memphis and grandchildren, Nikki, Dawn Marie, Matthew Alan and Dalton James Farrar and one great-grandson, Matthew Kyle Farrar. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 25, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Poplar Avenue with interment in Memphis Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
