Dot passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the age of 82. She was retired from Crye-Leike Realtors and was an avid square dancer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Hairrell and brother, George Jackson Darby. Dot is survived by two sons, Keith Hairrell (Kim), Lance Hairrell; one brother, Phillip Darby; one sister, Fay Smith (Hal); one grandchild, Nikki Colquitt; and three great grandchildren, Nash, Everly and Isla Colquitt; friend and companion, Mike Phillips. Family will receive guests Friday from 5 to 8 pm at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. Funeral Service will be held at funeral home on Saturday, 2 pm with burial to follow in Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
