Julius Earl Maples, age 70, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. He was born on May 31,1951 at John Gaston Hospital in Memphis, TN to Ethel Lou Maples ( Mettler ) and Julius L.D. Maples. Earl passed away peacefully in only true "Earl's way" with his two children by his side.
Earl is remembered by all his friends, his devoted family and all those that had the privilege of crossing his path. He was a fun loving, caring man who worked hard and loved even harder.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda and his two sisters, Ann Drewery and Mary McKinney. Earl is survived by his daughter, Shanyn Maples; his son, Brandon ( Angela Cutberth ) Maples and his grandchildren, Courtney Benner, Madilyn Maples, and Kelcie Cutberth.
A Graveside service will be held at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Memphis, TN on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10:00 am. The family request all of those in attendance to please wear a *Mask*.
