

A native of Memphis, Frankie is predeceased by her father, Bill Davis. She is survived by her husband of 43 years Gary Morgan Albright, her son Jonathan (Emma) Albright, her mother Faye Moorhead Davis, brother Mark Davis and brother in law, John Michael Albright (Margie). She is also survived by her niece Emily Davis Winter (Ron) and nephews Conner Davis (Mary Katherine), Tyler Davis and John David Albright (Muriel).
After graduating from Oakhaven High School and Memphis State University, Frankie taught kindergarten for 30 years in the Shelby County School district. Frankie excelled in academics and obtained her masters in education. Frankie loved being involved with her church and various children's programs. Frankie, along with her husband Gary, worked together for many seasons as Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. Frankie enjoyed genealogy, travel and reading. The Albright's were members of First Baptist Church of Bruce, MS.
Frankie retired from teaching in 2015 after a tragic accident left her husband paralyzed. Frankie became his full time caregiver and touched many lives with her dedication and commitment to her husband. Frankie will be lovingly remembered for her beautiful smile, her gentle nature, wit and genuine love for her church, her family and friends and most of all her students.
The family is grateful for the care and friendship of Liz Grant, fiancé of Mark Davis, and Tanner Allen as well as the friends that provided love and support to Frankie and her family during her illness.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 15th at 2 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home at 5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis TN 38119. Visitation will be from 12-2 prior to the service.
Internment will be at Memphis Memory Garden, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd. Memphis, TN 38134
