Fred Thomas Kendall, 87, of Germantown, TN died Tuesday, August 26 2014 at his home. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Katherine; his brother Kennie Kendall of DelRay Beach, FL; his son Quinn (Lynn) Kendall of Lompoc, CA; his daughter Patti (Tim) McGraw of Fort Worth, TX; and his faithful dog, Rusty. Fred attended Technical High School of Memphis before joining the Navy during WWII. His career of 32 years with Kraft/General Foods ended upon his retirement in 1987 at which time he enjoyed listening to his jazz record collection and pursuing his love of railroading. Graveside services will be Saturday, August 30 beginning at 1:30 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery. His family will gather beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home located at 5599 Poplar Avenue.
