George W. "Opa" Cook, 78, of Horn Lake, MS, passed away Tuesday April 8, 2014 in Marion, AR. Mr. Cook, a 12 year veteran of the United States Air Force, was retired from the United States Postal Service and was a Freemason with the Bethel Grove Lodge. He was a member of Highland Street Church of Christ. Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ingrid Cook, as well as his three daughters, Maryanne Beard, Audrey Cook, and Connie Cook. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Cook. Mr. Cook is survived by his brother Leon Cook (Brenda). He also leaves behind to cherish his memory, 6 grandchildren, Brian Cook, Brandon Tierce, Brittnay Cook, Sasha Tierce, Kayla Bratton, and Kimberly Bratton, as well as 11 great-grandchildren.
