George William Ettinger

George William Ettinger, 72, of Memphis, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2010. The family will receive friends Friday, September 17 from 5-8 p.m., and service will be Saturday, September 18 at 11 a.m., both at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens - Poplar Chapel. Mr. Ettinger was a Commodities Merchandiser. He was born in Vicksburg, MS in 1938 and served several years in the Mississippi National Guard. He leaves his wife, Theresa Westbrook Ettinger; daughters: Laura Ettinger of Manitou Springs, CO; Deborah Forbes of Columbia, SC; sons: George Ettinger of Memphis, Charles Ettinger of Memphis, Andrew Ettinger of Greensboro, NC, Jody Murphy of Vicksburg, MS; son-in-law, Gregory Hadsall of Memphis. He is also survived by a brother, Howard Ettinger, of Bovina, MS, sister Grace Ellen Westbrook of Vicksburg, MS and grandchildren Carr Leigh, Emily, Savannah, Keifer, Parker, Andi Elise, Walker and Christopher and great-grandchildren Mason and Nathanial and several nieces and nephews.
