He was preceded in death by his wife Cindy, his father Gerald R. Hooker, Sr., his brother Glen Hooker and brother, Cory Hooker.
Randy is survived by his sons, Gerald R. Hooker, III (Samantha), Tyler Hooker; grandsons, Davis and Gibson Hooker; his mother Joann Hooker Zink; and his brother, Brant Hooker.
He loved his family and friends and they enjoyed his company and his sense of humor. He loved the holidays when the family got together for the meals. He also loved music and played his guitar just for enjoyment.
Randy and his mom shared their Christian faith together in many discussions. He read the Bible, devotional books, and prayed. The Bible was always on the kitchen table. He will be a welcome addition to Heaven.
A lifelong Memphian, Randy worked as a medical technician with his last years at DaVita Dialysis keeping several clinics dialysis equipment working properly.
He will be missed by his friends and family dearly.
Family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Saturday, November 8 at Family Funeral Care 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN. A graveside service will follow at 2:30pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN.
