

GLEN ALAN PAUL, 68, lost his battle with cancer on the evening of October 17, 2014. Glen is survived by wife, Darlene Lengel Paul; daughters, Eleanor Gene Paul, Brittany Glyn Paul and Courtney Elizabeth Paul; stepson, Rob Sievers and his wife, Cara; and mother-in-law, Lois Lengel. He was predeceased by father, Clarence Newman Paul III; mother, Eleanor Ruth Paul of Dunbar, West Virginia; and brother, Clarence Newman Paul IV of Corpus Christi, Texas. Glen moved from West Virginia to Memphis in 1965 to attend University of Memphis, where he obtained a degree in Business Management. He then served as a Sergeant of the U.S. Air Force in Panama City Beach, FL from 1969 to 1971, and then moved back to Memphis to earn his MBA at University of Memphis. After several years, Glen co-founded a successful software solutions company, which he retired from in 2012. A vibrant personality and the life of every party, Glen spent his later years traveling with his family and celebrating life with Darlene, his wife of 23 years. Beloved father, husband and friend, Glen will surely be missed by many. Visitation for Glen Paul will be held at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel on Wednesday, October 22 at 12:30 p.m., with a service immediately following at 2 p.m. Burial will be in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Thursday, October 23 at 10:15 a.m. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to Baptist Trinity Hospice House in Collierville.
