

Mr. King attended Father Bertrand High School and enlisted in the United States Air Force soon after. He retired from the Memphis Wire and Iron Company, where he was employed as a welder.
Harold enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family. He also took leisure in playing dominoes, in which he was the Champion. Harold married the love of his life, Carol Jean King, who preceded him in death.
Harold departed this life of Thursday evening, September 17, 2020. He leaves to cherish his memories: his sons, Harold King Jr. and Perry King; four daughters, Sandra Moore (James), Sharon Millbrooks (Sylvester), Valerie Ousley (the late Eddie) and Vickie King (Thomas), all of Memphis, Tennessee; nine grandchildren, Tawanda Barron, Kennisha Turner (Darin), Kameaka Whitten (Tony), Dameon Johnson (Rekeia), Steven Moore, April Dorsey (Trent), Tiffany King, Erica Ousley and Byron Caples; fifteen great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren, a special grandson, Kevin Benton; a host of nieces, a nephew, great-nieces; a great-nephew and special friends, Lee Hayward, John ‘Poochie’ Brown and Wanita Watkins.
Mr. King was preceded in death by his grandson, Jeremy Ousley.
