Helen Maxine Burton, 77, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017. She cared for her family as a homemaker. Mrs. Burton was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Burton; two children, Lisa and David Burton; parents, Otis and Lela McCollum; and a sister, Rebecca Ditto. She is survived by her son, Thomas Burton; three sisters, Kay Chase, Patsy Shiver, Donna Grace; two brothers, Ronald and Donald McCollum; and two grandchildren, Lisa and Joshua Burton. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 9th from 2 pm until funeral service starts at 3 pm at Palestine Presbyterian Church in Lexington, TN. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery.
