Don’t even feel like a year approaching… I miss and love you dearly Auntie you were an angel heaven sent.. I wonder is my granddaddy up there talking your ears off.. I pray you and Grandma Magnolia are joined together talking about the good times.. you all don’t even have to talk I just hope you are surrounded by our loved ones we lost! Give Uncle Larry Prentis & Buster a big hug and kiss for me you all are greatly missed. 

The last time we talked, you were trying to help me bond with my nieces and nephew.  Larry, Prentiss, are my biological brothers. We shared the same father. I was trying to get in touch with you but to no avail. I just happened to stumble upon this obituary. RIP Idella you're beautiful soul.

I have so many wonderful memories of my Aunt Idella.  One particular memory I have is:  When we were kids,  she taught us how to make a peanut butter and jelly mixture.  To this day, I still mix my peanut butter and jelly the way she showed us...lol...

A second memory is when I bought tickets for me, my Mom, and Aunt Idella to see a musical play about the life and songs of Mahalia Jackson.  I sat between my Aunt Idella and my mom...and all you could hear were the words,  "Hallelujah"  and "Thank you Jesus".  This let me know that they were really enjoying the show!  Man,  both of those ladies loved them some Mahalia Jackson!

The last memory is:  When we were kids, my aunt worked at the library.  Every so often, she would bring us books.  One of the books she brought was a book about movie stars and acting.  It really sparked my interest to learn even more about acting,  singing, and theatre.  That book that she brought me influenced me so much that as a young adult I began auditioning and doing a lot of musical theatre, acting, singing, and theatre.  

I thank God for all of these precious memories of my aunt!  And I thank God that He allowed us to enjoy her spirit and presence while she was here with us.

Auntie Idella I love you and you will be GREATLY missed. Your smile, your hugs and most definitely your laugh.  I never got a chance to meet my auntie Sharon and I am truly grateful and honored to have you all as my aunties as a Great aunt to me you surely were great to me. Oh what a honor to call you all by your name but I always never missed the aunt before it. I love you forever 4L,past life. I pray peace & an easy heart & mind to my cousins and family knowning that she may not be here in flesh, she’s forever in our hearts and watching over us in spirit. I love you all deeply and may the Lord give us strength in this time of need. Love Modine’s granddaughter Kearya 😘

I know losing your mother has to be an heartbreaking moment that only God can ease and rock you pain away my prayers will be that he give you the strength you need  to embrace and remember the good times you shared to keep you flowing through all the years without your mother that you feel her love with you each day!
