Ms. Irma Lee Jones

Irma accepted Christ at an early age and joined St. Samaritan A.M.E. Church, where she remained a faithful member until her health declined.

On Sunday, August 16, 2020, the Almighty God called one of His faithful servants, Irma Jones, to come home and rest.

Ms. Irma Lee Jones leaves to cherish her memories: five daughters, Velma (Robert) Matthews, Darlene (Stanley) Shannon, & Erma Hawkins, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Gwendolyn Davis & Areatha Hawkins of Coldwater, Mississippi; two sons, Timothy (Joanne) Hawkins of Coldwater, Mississippi, and Kevin (Yolanda) Jones of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three sisters, Alice Dunigan of Memphis, Tennessee, and Ruby Phillips & Karen Davis, both of Coldwater, Mississippi; three brothers, Charles Davis of Chicago, Illinois, and Odell (Earnesteen) Davis & Chester (Mary Ann) Davis, both of Coldwater, Mississippi; one sister-in-law, Glory Jean Davis; eighteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Ms. Jones was preceded in death by two daughters, Doris Hawkins and Elaine Hawkins; two brothers, Robert Davis, Jr., and Leroy Davis, Sr.; and her sister, Tressie French.


