He departed this life Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at Baptist East Hospital.
James was a very hard-working man who loved his family dearly. He retired from Northrop Grumman Pascagoula after seven years of service. James had a passion for helping everyone with no rewards.
James leaves many to cherish his memories: daughter, Natasha Blakely of Sanford, Florida; his son, DeMarcio Knox (Tracie) of Memphis, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Tamia McCutchen, DeMarcio Knox, Jr., Tyree Knox, Tamaya Knox, Tayon Knox and Tia Knox; siblings, William Blakely (Suzette), Melvin Blakely (Sarah), Doris Ann Brown, Pamela Blakely, Cassandra Blakely and Ronald Blakely; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
James was preceded in death by his sister, Florence Reid.
