James graduated from Ripley High School before serving his country proudly in the United States Army. He went on to spend most of his career as a successful car salesman, where his sharp eye for detail and warm personality earned him lifelong customers and friends. Among his many accomplishments, he was proud to have sold multiple cars to Elvis Presley.
James loved to travel and spent much of his life exploring the United States with his beloved wife, Charlien. Together, they created countless memories and cherished adventures.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Charlien Queen, his mother, Imogene Queen, and his father, Aaron Queen.
He is survived by his daughter, Selena Hurst (Donnie), his son, Chris Queen (Liz), his sisters, Glenda and Darlene, his brother, Ronnie, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will continue to carry his legacy of love and joy.
James will be remembered for his kindness, his sense of humor, and his devotion to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, adventure, and cherished memories.
