James Thomas ”Tommy” Cook, 64, of Memphis, passed away at his home on Thursday, October 15, 2015. Tommy was born in Somerville, TN on September 17, 1951 to James Calvin and Mildred Inez Voyles Cook. He was a US army veteran and enjoyed fishing. Mr. Cook is survived by his mother, Mildred Inez Smith; his loving wife of 44 years, Judy Cook; daughters, Crystal Cook of Millington, Tommi Cook and Brittany McIntyre; son, Aaron Cook; sisters, Pat Lunati and Lisa Owen; brothers, Larry and Ralph Cook, all of Memphis; thirteen grandchildren and one great grandson. He was preceded in death by his father James Calvin Cook; a daughter, Donna Cook and his brother, Dennis Cook. His funeral service will be Wednesday morning, October 21 at 10 a.m. at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. A short visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Interment will follow in West Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery.
