James Lee Thrash, age 80, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024. He was born September 11, 1943. He retired from Memphis Light Gas and Water. He was a member of Covenant Baptist Church, Collierville.
James is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lupe Thrash; son, John Brantz Thrash, of Huntsville, AL; sister, Melisa Hicks (Richard), of Clanton, AL; and brother, William E. Thrash, of Conway, AR.
A service of committal with military honors will be held on Friday, February 23 at the rotunda of West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Road, Memphis, TN 38125.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be directed to the Memphis Union Mission.
