Dorothy "Jeanne" (Cordes) Regen, age 78, of Lakeland, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021. Dorothy was born in St. Louis, MO on October 2, 1942. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril 'Bud' Cordes and Marcella Cordes.
Jeanne graduated from Duchesne Catholic High School in St. Charles, MO. She possessed a strong, lifelong Catholic faith, which she passed on to her daughters. She lived her out her faith everyday and before everyone she knew. Jeanne fulfilled her dream of becoming a stewardess for Eastern Airlines during those days when air travel was glamorous and prestigious. She met Richard in 1968 when she moved to Miami FL and they married February 7, 1969. To this union two daughters were born Mindy and Casey. Shortly after, she stopped working to focus on her family and raise her daughters. Jeanne was actively involved in both of her girls' lives. She worked selflessly to provide Catholic School education for them and always helped them with their homework and school projects. She bought and operated a food demonstration service, Southern Samplers, for almost 10 years. She passed after a long battle with Alzheimer disease.
She is survived by her daughters, Mindy Beth (Scott) Milliet and Casey Nicole Regen and her fiancé Timothy Freeman; her brother, John C. Cordes and one grandchild, Gavin Regen Freeman.
