He is survived and lovingly remembered by his daughters Hannah and Abigail, his former wife Donna, his brothers Glenn (Laura), Jay “Bubba”, and his sister Tracy (Gary). Jeff is predeceased by his son James “JP”, and his parents Jimmy and Glenda.
Jeff was born in Memphis on June 24, 1956 to Jimmy and Glenda Greenwell. He graduated from Kingsbury High School in 1974. After graduating, Jeff joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 474, becoming a Journeyman Electrician in 1981. Jeff worked in the electrical trade the rest of his life, along with his two brothers and many members of his family.
Jeff was a loving father and uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed working with his hands on cars, computers, and any other gadget that he could take apart and then fix. He was a problem-solver who often took on difficult and unwanted projects around the house. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
On Sunday, December 12th, the family will receive friends from 1-2pm and a service of remembrance will begin at 2:00 P.M. at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave., Memphis, TN.
