Jeremy Lloyd Parayos

Jeremy is survived by his sons: Dominick, age 17; Nickolas, age 16; and Zeus, age 13; as well as his mother, Linda Parayos; sister, Debbie-Lin Parayos, along with her partner Geoff and their daughter Lexi; brother, Eric Parayos, along with his wife Debbie, their daughter Josephine, and son Gage; aunt JoAnn Dicker; aunt Shirley Welch along with her husband Jack; his father, Joseph Parayos; several cousins; and countless friends.

Jeremy graduated from Ocean Township High School in 1995 and from Rutgers University in 2001 with a Masters Degree in Education and a Bachelors Degree in History.

Jeremy's love of travel led him to teach in Venezuela (where he became fluent in Spanish), Albania, Oregon, back to Venezuela, and, finally, Tennessee. Jeremy planned on moving up north in the future and always considered New Jersey to be his home.

Jeremy loved the beach, playing basketball, running in marathons, teaching, and, most importantly, spending as much time as possible with his three sons.

To know Jeremy was to love him. He was always there to lend a hand, keep you company, make you laugh, and give you a well-known bear hug. His warmth, humor, and love of life will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. A service will be held at a later date, to be announced.
