JOAN KIRK HOLDEN, 71, of Memphis, passed October 16, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital-Bartlett. She worked for the General Sessions Court, retired from MLG&W, and in her retirement, worked for Walgreens. She was predeceased by her parents, Marvin and Ivy Kirk, sisters, Mary Ella Frazer and Billie Kennedy. She is survived by her son Steven Holden of Bartlett; sisters, Freddie (Jimmie) Brown, Marlene Sartain, all of Little Rock AR; brother, Lowery (Vivian) Kirk, and mother-in-law, Margaret Hollingsworth of Arlington. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 18 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., with funeral service at 1 p.m., all at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel.
