Johnny Robinson Boone, age 84, entered into a peaceful rest on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 after a brief illness. He served our country in the Korean War and spent his career as a General Contractor in the Construction industry. He joins his parents, John Richard Boone and Nellie Helms Boone in a great reunion. Also preceding him were his sisters and brother, Nora Taper, Betty Cates and Billy Boone, Sr. He is survived by his beloved sister, Nellie Deripaska of Olive Branch, MS; four children, Randy (Glenda) Boone of Eads, TN, Teresa (Tommy) Parish of Brighton, TN, Wanda (Chris) Doyon of Munford, TN and John Boone of Cedar Rapids, IA; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, January 30, with the memorial service following at 10 a.m. at Family Funeral Care located at 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Shiners Hospitals for Children.
