Joseph Luke Lenzi

Joseph Luke Lenzi, 101, passed away on Saturday morning, February 28, 2015. He was born on July 4, 1913 in Memphis, TN. He was a resident of Kennington Pointe for 23 years. Mr. Lenzi was a lifelong Memphian, graduating from Christian Brothers High School and retiring from International Harvester where he was head of the drafting department. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sabastanio Lenzi and Rosa Buchignani Lenzsi, his wife, Bertha, one sister, Nora Liberto, and three brothers, John V Lenzi, Paul S. Lenzi and Father Angelo A. Lenzi. He is survived by one sister, Norma Parham and seven nieces and nephews. Joe was a devout Catholic and lived his faith in word and deed all his life. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 6th at 11 am at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 3863 Summer Ave., following a visitation from 10 to 10:45 am, with a rosary at 10:45 and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
